Local Events February 2021

COVID-19 has kept us all in the house and many of our favorite events have been cancelled this past year. The Charleston Trident area offers many events throughout the year and here are just a few that are occurring this month!

Virtual Events:

Color of Music, February 3-13, 2021:

Annual classical musical festival that honors the impact and historical significance of black composers and performers on American and world culture.

This event does require a ticket and can be found here: https://www.colourofmusic.org/upcoming-events-all-cities/

Chef's Feast 2021, February 27, 2021

Annual event that highlights the Lowcountry Food Bank's fight to end childhood hunger.

This event helps fund programs such as BackPack Buddies, School Pantries, and School Markets.

This event does require a pre-registration which can be found here:

In Person Events:

Tour this 18th Century historic home that is the oldest untouched home open to the public in the United States.

Captain's Comic Expo, February 20-21, 2021

Located at Patriot's Point, this expo features comics, toys, art, and costumes galore! Kids 10 & Under are free with a paid adult! Get your tickets here: https://captainscomicexpo.com/tickets

First Three Weekends in February:

Deep Water Vineyard on Wadmalaw Island celebrates all things wine!

I hope you are able to get out and enjoy some of these local events this month! As always, due to a global pandemic I would recommend double checking with the event holder to insure that the event is not cancelled.
