New COVID-19 Wave - Should you Buy or Sell?

The new wave of COVID-19 has many asking whether now is the right time to buy or sell? The answer is simple, there is never a wrong time to buy or sell if you are in the position of needing to buy or sell. However, it can be concerning either having strangers enter your home that you are selling or being the stranger entering a home in which you are interested in buying and not knowing if you are putting your own health or someone else's at risk. So what can a Realtor® do to help ensure a safe and healthy home buying/ selling process?

As a Realtor® I take my clients and my own health very seriously. If you are purchasing or selling and you do not want to enter other homes, no worries! I can complete virtual showings. It is just like being there, but instead, it's from my phone. I will continue to wear my mask and keep hand sanitizer readily available so the buyer and seller only have to worry about me being in the home rather than a group of individuals.

Still, want to go and see homes in person? That is not an issue either. Agents are posting what their clients want potential buyers to do to stop the spread of COVID such as requiring masks to be worn, sanitizer to be used, and other requirements that they may have. I can always bring antibacterial/ antiviral wipes to assist in spraying down door handles.

Although it is still strange times and this virus continues to produce variants, there are many virtual opportunities so that we can help you stay safe. Contracts will be signed electronically, negotiations will occur via phone, and in some instances, there is also the possibility to close on your home virtually. If that is something you are interested in doing, let me know and I can help organize that and see what options are available with the various closing attorneys.

So, is it the right time to buy or sell? Of course! I am here to help you feel safe and find the perfect home for you and your family despite the ongoing pandemic.
